Who’s Anni?

I’m a mom of two daughters, and a feminist to the core.

During my career, I’ve worked several RDI projects in NGOs and Universities in Oulu. My passion is to create equal, inclusive, and inspiring opportunities, for marginalized groups and individuals especially. As a side job I’ve been working at the artist production of local Qstock festival for the past 14 years.

At the moment I’m on parental leave, enjoying the company of my one-month-old baby. My everyday life consists of family activities around Oulu, as well as politics: I’m acting as the Vice Chairperson in Oulu for the Green Women’s Association, the feminist wing of the Green League of Finland. I’m also a member of the regional committee in Oulu for NYTKIS, the Coalition of Finnish Women’s Associations. My core values in politics are equity, solidarity, and sustainability. My goal is to build bridges, not burn them.
